LET'S WALK AND ROLL!!

WindReach Recreational Village holds an annual, 3km Walk and Roll event each spring. This sporting event is a challenge to raise funds and friends for our wonderful, accessible and inclusive community facility. To see highlights of our 2006 event click here.

The 3k-fitness walk begins at WindReach on Spicehill Rd in Warwick going east to Warwick lane, down to the South Shore Rd. to Camp Rd., and then back up the hill to the Recreational Village. The walk is accessible for wheelchairs and strollers, providing a great opportunity for everyone to participate. WindReach is here to enrich the lives of people of all abilities, and this walk is a great opportunity for all of us to join together in the common activity of a Saturday morning stroll.

Participants support WindReach by gathering pledges. Pledge forms can be downloaded from our web site in PDF format weeks before the event. Or, pick one up at the sports and grocery stores around the island. "Fill up a form" collect donations if you can and be here to register early on the event day. Make it a 3k or a 30k by completing the route multiple times.
