Sensory Room and
Soft Play Reception Room

Individuals with sensory depravation or high needs can use the Sensory room for sensory stimulating activities, play or relaxation.

Snoezelen as it was originally called, was developed in Holland to provide relaxation and leisure facilities to people of all ages with sensory, intellectual and physical disabilities. Wonderful and gentle combinations of music, light, gentle vibrations, tactile sensations and aromatherapy stimulate the primary senses. Our visitor can explore the room away from the pressures associated with direct care and therapy.

Training is offered to care givers throughout the year. Primary care givers and parents that are trained can contact our Activities Department to book the room or for any other enquiries.
